Exposure Software

Eye Candy is a Photoshop plug-in from Exposure Software, a developer of image-processing tools. Designed for graphic designers and photographers, it creates realistic visual effects that can be difficult or impossible to achieve with Photoshop alone. Its 32 effect categories include perspective shadow, chrome, bevel, fire, rust, brushed metal, glass, lightning, clouds, animal fur, smoke, and reptile skin. More than 1,000 presets help users explore different looks, while adjustable controls support custom styles for projects ranging from web interfaces and logos to professional print work.

The plug-in is built for visual exploration: recognizable icons organize effects, and presets can be previewed by hovering over them. Effects adapt to the dimensions of the artwork and are applied on a separate layer, preserving the original image; Eye Candy can also operate as a Photoshop Smart Filter for later editing. It supports CMYK and 16-bit-per-channel images and works with Photoshop CS6 or newer on supported Mac and Windows systems.
