Eye Corps is a registered non-profit organization based in Tanzania, with a mission to combat cataract blindness by supporting cataract services within the country. Founded in 2017, Eye Corps is a 501(c)(3) organization working towards reducing blindness by providing comprehensive eye care, including cataract surgeries and glasses, to those in need. As a non-profit, Eye Corps focuses on building sustainable eye care in rural sub-Saharan Africa.

They collaborate with local eye care providers and academic ophthalmic training institutions to maximize the impact of in-country professionals. This involves providing necessary equipment, continued medical education, and mentorship to enhance the capacity for high-quality eyecare services. Eye Corps also partners with the leading postgraduate ophthalmology program in Tanzania to improve training through the support of US lecturers and educational tools.
