Eyemobi is an independent virtual reality studio based in Auckland, New Zealand, founded by Joe Chang. The studio has been creating VR experiences since the earliest Oculus Rift development kits and now focuses on games for Meta Quest. Working in Unity, Eyemobi uses a shared toolkit for ragdoll AI, procedural levels, traps and VR interactions, building physics-driven action games where enemies and objects respond to each encounter.
Its latest release, Chrome Rush, is a cyberpunk arena fighter for Quest, featuring ragdoll enemies, weighty weapons, environmental traps, supply crates and global leaderboards. The studio’s back catalogue includes Zombie Rush, a weapon-scavenging horror game; Quantum Warfare, a shooter about battling microscopic robots; Bullet Time, a slow-motion gunfight; Demon Rush, a free arena brawler; and Wasteland Rush, designed to run on the original Quest.
Eyemobi is also developing Codename Salvage, a retro-inspired vector-art scavenger game set in space. Before concentrating on Quest, the studio created games and interactive projects for museums, schools and brands, including augmented reality and motion-controlled experiences.
