*scroll down for English* Ο μη-κερδοσκοπικός οργανισμός Eyes of Light – Φορέας Τέχνης στην Υγεία είναι αφιερωμένος στην βελτίωση της ποιότητας ζωής των ατόμων με εμπειρία καρκίνου, μέσω της τέχνης. Ιδρύθηκε το 2019 με στόχο την προώθηση μιας ανθρωποκεντρικής προσέγγισης και την εφαρμογή καινοτόμων καλλιτεχνικών δράσεων προς όφελος των ασθενών. Ο φορέας είναι από τους πρώτους στην Ελλάδα που ειδικεύεται στη χρήση της Θεραπευτικής Φωτογραφίας, διοργανώνοντας διεθνώς βραβευμένα εργαστήρια με σημαντικό αντίκτυπο στην ψυχοκοινωνική ευημερία των συμμετεχόντων. Παράλληλα, υλοποιεί συμμετοχικά εικαστικά έργα, δραστηριότητες επαφής με την τέχνη, εκθέσεις και καμπάνιες ευαισθητοποίησης, ενώ έχει πραγματοποιήσει ερευνητικό έργο για την τέχνη στην υγεία, με υποστήριξη του Υπουργείου Πολιτισμού. Στους μελλοντικούς του στόχους περιλαμβάνονται η ένταξη προγραμμάτων τέχνης σε χώρους περίθαλψης και η διεύρυνση της χρήσης της θεραπευτικής φωτογραφίας, ώστε να ωφελήσει ακόμη περισσότερες κοινωνικές ομάδες. The non-profit organisation Eyes of Light – Arts in Health Hub is dedicated to improving the quality of life of individuals with cancer, through art. It was founded in 2019 with the aim of promoting a human-centered approach and implementing innovative art projects for the benefit of patients. The organisation is one of the first in Greece to specialise in the use of Therapeutic Photography, organising internationally awarded workshops that have a significant impact on the psychological and social well-being of participants. At the same time, it carries out participatory visual art projects, art engagement activities, exhibitions, and awareness campaigns, and has conducted research on the role of arts in health, supported by the Greek Ministry of Culture. Its future goals include the integration of art programs in healthcare settings and the expansion of the use of therapeutic photography to benefit even more social groups.

About EYES OF LIGHT
Eyes of Light is a non-profit organization and artistic entity focusing on the healing power of art for individuals facing serious illnesses, such as cancer. Founded in 2018, Eyes of Light encourages people to approach their challenges with a positive mindset through the therapeutic energy of artistic creation. Their programs include Therapeutic Photography Workshops, which started in January 2019 in collaboration with Alma Zois and KEFI organizations.
They also offer participative photography sessions and creative programs like Survivors of Cancer: Faces of Hope in partnership with renowned photographers. The organization has showcased their initiatives at the Eyes of Light: Focusing on Life exhibition in May 2019, featuring 50 participants. In recognition of their work, Eyes of Light received the Scaling Award in September 2019.
Having completed over 110 workshop hours within their first year, benefiting approximately 120 cancer patients and 250 family members, Eyes of Light became a non-profit organization in December 2019
