Eyes Plus, Inc. is a family optometry practice founded in 1990 to help people in Hawai‘i and beyond maintain healthy vision throughout life. Led by Dr.

Hank Makini, the practice serves patients from infancy through older adulthood, combining eye care with education and personalized attention. Its services include comprehensive eye examinations, dry eye and meibomian gland dysfunction assessments and treatment options, myopia management, and care for eye misalignment associated with headaches and other symptoms. Eyes Plus also provides specialized Academic Vision Care for school-aged children, supporting visual skills related to learning and helping identify vision concerns that may be mistaken for learning or behavioral difficulties.

An infant eye assessment is offered free for children aged six to twelve months, regardless of family income or insurance access.
