EYOF Maribor is proud to be hosting the Olympic Festival of European Youth in July 2023. With a rich tradition spanning over 30 years, this is the largest multi-sport event for young athletes aged 14 to 18. The festival brings together participants from 48 European countries, offering them a unique opportunity to unite in the spirit of the Olympic Games and promote the values of fair play, friendship, and tolerance.

Maribor, a city with a great sporting heart, will come alive during the festival, offering an exceptional sports program and exciting accompanying events. Sports enthusiasts can expect a diverse range of disciplines, including swimming, judo, tennis, volleyball, gymnastics, athletics, road cycling, handball, and for the first time, skateboarding, mountain biking, and 3x3 basketball. In addition to the thrilling sports action, visitors can explore the natural beauty of Maribor, with its picturesque Pohorje, Kozjak, and city hills, offering numerous hiking and cycling trails with stunning views.
