Fondation Saint-Cyr

The Saint-Cyr Foundation is a French public-interest foundation established in 2006 to support and promote research at the Saint-Cyr Coëtquidan Military Academy and in the field of defence. It brings together businesses, universities, public institutions and civil society to encourage collaboration between military and civilian communities and strengthen the relationship between the armed forces and the nation.

The foundation supports research chairs, scientific projects and academic work, including theses and publications. It also organizes and contributes to conferences, colloquia and seminars on subjects relevant to defence, the armed forces and future security challenges. Through these activities, it helps share research and ideas with both military and civilian audiences, while offering partner organizations opportunities to present their perspectives and commitments.

Its work includes promoting the Army and its partners, advancing defence research and contributing to national resilience, technological development and France’s strategic autonomy within a European framework. The foundation invites individuals and organizations to support its mission through partnerships and donations, helping anticipate future challenges and reinforce cooperation in the service of defence.
