About Fab Lab IUB
Fab Lab IUB is a sub project of HEQEP, a project under the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh. Our aim is to provide fabrication equipment to individuals and organizations, facilitating the learning of practical, industry relevant skills. We strive to bridge the gap between local innovators and makers, creating a diverse maker community that can deliver impactful solutions to local problems.
As a Fab Lab, we offer a platform for learning, discovery, invention, and mentorship. We provide all necessary fabrication facilities, from rapid prototypes to industrial solutions. Our workshop and training programs cover a wide range of tools and technologies, from hand tools to large machineries.
In addition, we provide support for arts and designs, enabling creative artists and designers to bring their imagination to life. We offer open access to high-configured machines and electronic equipment for makers and researchers. For educational institutes, industries, and entrepreneurs, we offer opportunities for collaboration, including prototyping facilities, training, workshops, and consultation.
