COM, is a DOS-based minicourse designed to assist students in studying microcomputers independently. Tom's journey began in Los Angeles, where he attended Loyola High School, followed by the University of Arizona. After completing his education, he joined the Air Force, where he specialized in testing electronic countermeasures equipment and earned a Masters in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Biomedical Engineering at the Air Force Institute of Technology.
