Fábrica do Sorriso is a neighbourhood dental practice serving communities on Lisbon’s South Bank through clinics in Almada, Fernão Ferro and Baixa da Banheira. Its first clinic opened in Almada in 2015, and the practice now has a team of 24 clinicians and therapists offering 27 treatments and consultations. Services include general and paediatric dentistry, dental hygiene, orthodontics, Invisalign and other clear aligners, implants, oral surgery, periodontics, endodontics, teeth whitening and oral rehabilitation. The clinics also provide care for dental emergencies, jaw and facial pain, and sleep-related concerns. At its Fernão Ferro policlinic, patients can additionally access speech therapy, psychology, osteopathy and acupuncture, including Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Fábrica do Sorriso emphasises clear communication and patient choice. Initial visits allow time for examination and discussion, while treatment stages and costs are provided in a written plan before care begins. The practice accepts 13 insurance and healthcare network agreements, the SNS dental voucher, and offers interest-free instalments through Cofidis Pay. Each clinic is registered with Portugal’s Health Regulatory Authority.
