NEED GAMES!

NEED GAMES! is the publisher of Fabula Ultima, a tabletop roleplaying game by Emanuele Galletto inspired by Japanese-style console RPGs. The game gives players tools to create fantasy worlds together and tell collaborative stories about heroes, villains, and consequential choices. Its core rulebook features a modular system with 15 classes, a bestiary, guidance for Game Masters, and resources for building characters, settings, and adventures.

The Fabula Ultima range includes three setting expansions, known as Atlases: High Fantasy, Techno Fantasy, and Natural Fantasy. Each adds genre-specific locations, classes, skills, villains, and optional rules, with tools for creating weapons or equipment. The publisher also offers Press Start, a free introductory scenario and tutorial, along with downloadable character sheets, world-building materials, pregenerated characters, errata, and playtest resources. Players can find digital and print purchasing options through the site, with retailer links for different regions. Additional offerings include a free soundtrack for game sessions and a third-party license that lets community creators publish compatible content, from scenarios and settings to virtual tabletop tools.
