About FACCI
FACCI_RD is the Fundación Amigos contra el Cáncer Infantil, Inc., a non-profit organization based in the Dominican Republic. They are dedicated to improving the lives of economically disadvantaged children with cancer. FACCI provides a wide range of programs and services to support these children and their families.
Their medical program offers treatment and support to children aged 0 to 16 years at the Hospital Infantil Dr. Robert Reid Cabral. They have trained specialists who provide psychosocial support, blood donation drives, diagnostic analysis, palliative care, and transportation services for patients.
In addition, FACCI provides essential services such as nutritious meals and accommodation at their Casa FACCI, ensuring that children from remote areas or far from the hospital can receive treatment without abandoning it due to lack of resources.
