With a strong focus on achieving fair trade in raw aluminium and aluminium products within the EU market, FACE is committed to supporting the competitiveness of the EU's downstream aluminium sector, which consists of numerous small and medium-sized enterprises. Promoting the use of aluminium and its products for manufacturers, FACE emphasizes the economic, social, and environmental advantages that it offers.

Additionally, FACE actively monitors and evaluates emerging technologies in the aluminium industry, aiming to defend the interests of the downstream aluminium sector by ensuring optimal supply conditions. With the objective of maintaining a sound European industrial and trade policy, FACE advocates for the elimination of import tariffs on primary unwrought aluminium. This initiative aims to boost the competitiveness of the downstream sector, which accounts for 95% of all jobs in the aluminium industry.
