Fachwartverein Ludwigsburg e.V. is a nonprofit association founded in 2005, bringing together around 170 LOGL-certified fruit and garden specialists from Ludwigsburg County and beyond. Its members strengthen their expertise through continuing education, professional talks, study visits, workshops, pruning courses, and other events. The association serves as a knowledgeable point of contact for questions about fruit, gardening, and landscape care.

A central priority is preserving and maintaining traditional meadow orchards. The club supports local associations with pruning courses, orchard-care days, and advice on fruit varieties, and contributes to projects such as StoP Sachsenheim. It also helps train new specialists in cooperation with the district association and official fruit-growing advisers. Topics covered include tree pruning and training, planting, orchard health, preserving varieties, and fruit use. Some members and tree-care professionals also offer paid fruit-tree maintenance and pruning for individuals and municipalities.
