Fellowship Afloat

Fellowship Afloat Charitable Trust (FACT) is a UK charity based in Tollesbury on the Essex coast, offering outdoor adventure, education and relaxation in a distinctive coastal setting. Its centre, aboard the accommodation vessel Trinity, welcomes individuals, families, schools, youth groups, churches, community projects, clubs and other organisations. Residential stays combine comfortable accommodation, home-cooked food and activities in a safe, supportive environment, with programmes tailored to each group.

Visitors can take part in sailing, kayaking, powerboating, rowing, climbing, high ropes, archery, rafting, field studies, crabbing and team-building, among other activities. FACT also runs opportunities for individuals, including youth summer camps, retreats, sailing days and seasonal events. Its sailing provision includes Royal Yachting Association courses for young sailors and adults, covering dinghy sailing, powerboating, safety boat skills, first aid and instructor training.

Located around 50 miles from London, the centre offers access to quiet waters, wildlife and wide coastal landscapes. FACT is supported by staff, volunteers and donors, and invites people to contribute through volunteering, donations and community initiatives.
