About FACT
Forum for AIDS Counselling and Training (FACT) is a local NGO in Blantyre, Malawi, providing comprehensive sexual education, mental health counseling, and community social support programs. Established in 2016, FACT aims to deliver youth-friendly sexual and reproductive health services through peer-to-peer service delivery. As a registered NGO with the government of Malawi, CONGOMA, and the NGO Board, FACT actively contributes to the implementation of national youth-friendly health services strategies.
They also work towards achieving the global 90-90-90 treatment targets and the goals outlined in the National Strategic Plan for HIV. Additionally, FACT's branch, FACT Women Empowerment Network (FWEN), focuses on empowering adolescent girls. With a dedicated team of volunteers, FACT is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young people in Malawi.
