Flying Angel’s Flight Academy (FAFA) is an approved flight-training organization based at Colombo Airport Ratmalana, Sri Lanka. A subsidiary predominantly owned by FITS Aviation, part of Aberdeen Holdings, the academy builds on its parent company’s involvement in Sri Lanka’s aviation industry since 1997. It prepares aspiring pilots and aviation professionals through structured instruction, practical flying experience, and theoretical study. Training uses a fleet that includes Cessna 150, Cessna 152, and Cessna 172 aircraft, with CAASL-approved programs and experienced flight instructors.
FAFA offers modular courses for the Private Pilot License (PPL), Night Rating, Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot License (CPL), and ATPL theoretical knowledge. Integrated pathways combine CPL/IR and a multi-engine rating with either a two-year HND in Aviation (NVQ Level 6) or a three-year B.Sc. in Aviation. The academy also provides recency training and support for maintaining license and rating currency. Its emphasis on safety, well-maintained aircraft, and personalized instruction serves students pursuing initial flight training or progressing toward professional aviation careers.
