FAFPI, or the Fight Against Facilitation Payment Initiative, is a brand that offers a collective response to the frustration that companies and organizations face when dealing with facilitation payments. Facilitation payments are small amounts demanded by government officials to expedite routine processes, but they add up to a significant financial burden and waste valuable time for businesses. FAFPI aims to change the game by creating strong internal policies and gathering data on these demands.

This data is then shared with partners, such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and local civil society groups, who can address the issue with their counterparts and put an end to these demands. FAFPI has two main components: Best Practice, where members exchange experiences and strategies on fighting facilitation payments, and Collective Action, where members report the demands they encounter through FAFPI's reporting tool.
