Fainting Goat Spirits is a family-owned craft distillery in downtown Greensboro, North Carolina, founded by the Norman family. The team produces its spirits on site, using North Carolina-grown grain from a family farm in Union County, with the exception of barley. After distillation, selected spirits are aged in barrels stored at an offsite rickhouse, then returned to the distillery for bottling.
The range includes Tiny Cat Vodka, Emulsion Gin, Fisher’s American Single Malt Whiskey, Straight Rye Whiskey, Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon and Distiller’s Reserve. The distillery highlights its aged whiskies, including a four-year single malt, five-year rye and six-year Bottled-in-Bond bourbon, alongside award-winning vodka and gin. Visitors can buy bottles at the distillery and find the spirits in North Carolina ABC stores; shipping to many other states is available through a retail partner.
The dog-friendly location offers public tastings on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as private tastings and separately priced events. Its gift shop and bottle sales are open Tuesday through Saturday, with hours varying by day
