Fair Air Masks

Fair Air Masks is an Australian brand developed and manufactured by Dane Taylor Technologies Pty Ltd in Geelong, Victoria. It specialises in respiratory protection, with its Fair Air fire mask designed specifically for bushfire and wildfire fighting. The reusable respirator is highly fire resistant, washable and intended to provide comfortable protection while remaining easy to breathe through.

The company says its filters remove 99.94% of particulates as small as 0.3 microns, based on testing by Australia’s CSIRO. Fair Air describes its filter technology as highly advanced and says the filters can last for years with basic care. The masks have been used on firegrounds across Australia and in other countries for more than a decade. The brand also presents them as protection against a range of other airborne particulates, and says the design can work for people with facial hair. Fair Air products have been supplied to emergency responders and defenders in Ukraine through a shipment sent by the Australian Government.
