Fairfood is a non-profit organisation working to accelerate the transition to a fairer, more transparent food system and protect the livelihoods of the people who produce our food. Active in more than 15 countries, it partners with businesses, public institutions and other organisations to advance farmer inclusion and corporate accountability.

Fairfood provides expertise, technology and practical support for more responsible supply chains. Its solutions include product traceability using data from verified smallholder farmers, tools to improve supply chain transparency, and digital systems that help farmers connect with markets and finance. The organisation also supports work on income resilience, fair value distribution, due diligence, digital inclusion and climate-resilient farming communities. Its approach guides companies through stages of designing, developing, deploying and delivering transparency initiatives.

Fairfood shares case studies, reports and tools to help partners apply lessons from projects in sectors such as coffee, spices and vanilla. After 25 years of developing supply chain transparency and farmer-first solutions, Fairfood became part of Solidaridad on 1 August 2026, strengthening the organisations’ shared work towards sustainable supply chains.
