ManosYarnsUSA is a brand that takes pride in supporting women and providing them with economic opportunities. The brand was founded in 1968 by five women who aimed to create employment in a country where work opportunities for women were scarce. Initially, they sold handcrafts at local shops and agricultural shows.

Over time, the focus shifted to spinning, dyeing, weaving, and knitting. ManosYarnsUSA uses a unique dying process that results in beautiful, faded, striated colors. Today, the brand has expanded to include 17 cooperatives and employs 350 artisans.

Despite its growth, each cooperative remains a small, local business. The Manos Cooperatives have even collaborated with renowned designers and department stores.
