Fairport Canal Days is one of the most popular arts festivals in New York State, offering a fun-filled weekend of art, music, food, and entertainment. Set alongside the scenic village on the historic Erie Canal, this premier juried event celebrates its 46th year in 2023. Produced by the Fairport Perinton Merchants Association, the festival showcases a diverse array of artisans, non-profits, and food vendors.
Visitors can explore the beautiful artwork, enjoy live music at Canal Nights, and savor delicious cuisine from local restaurants. Families can also participate in the KidZone activities and cheer on the ducks at the Fairport Duck Race. As a community-driven event, Fairport Canal Days is supported by generous sponsors and government-based funding, ensuring its financial viability and the continuation of its beautification and public art initiatives.
