Fairsend is a secure file-sharing service designed to make sending files straightforward while protecting their contents. Users can transfer files or folders by dropping them onto the website, with no account required for the free service. Fairsend offers up to 5 GB at no cost, and transfers are set to one recipient and available for seven days, according to the service’s transfer options.

Files are encrypted end to end in the browser using AES-256-GCM. The service also provides download tracking and proof of delivery, and transfers are automatically deleted. Fairsend states that it is GDPR-compliant, operates its servers in Germany, and does not track users. Premium users can log in to access their full quota, while additional options include transfer requests, gift cards, and paid plans.

The website provides security and feature information, help resources, and legal documents, including privacy and terms of service. Its interface supports multiple languages and includes accessibility settings such as high contrast, adjustable font size, and reduced animations.
