Fairview PBS

Fairview Positive Behaviour Support (Fairview PBS) provides person-centred behaviour support designed to help people live meaningful lives and improve their quality of life. The organisation works collaboratively with participants, families and support networks, focusing on each person’s strengths, needs, preferences and goals. Its approach seeks to understand the reasons behind behaviour and support greater independence, choice, participation, skill development and stronger relationships.

Services include functional behaviour assessments, interim and comprehensive behaviour support plans, and guidance on restrictive practices, with strategies intended to reduce and eliminate their use in line with NDIS requirements. Fairview PBS also offers training and coaching for families, carers and support staff, quality-of-life interventions, and evidence-based recommendation reports for NDIS applications, reviews and decision-making. Practitioners receive professional development and engage in collaboration and reflective practice. Participants can request a complimentary Meet & Greet to meet a practitioner before starting.

Fairview PBS serves Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, Wide Bay and Central Queensland, with regional and remote outreach available for discussion.
