Fairway Trail

Fairway Trail Maine is a free golf passport program designed to help players discover courses across the state. Launching in spring 2027, the trail invites golfers to check in at participating pro shops, enter the day’s code or scan a QR code, and collect a stamp for each new course they play. Participating courses offer a perk on a golfer’s first visit, while completing a regional loop earns trail swag. There is no passport purchase or discount card: golfers pay for their rounds as usual and earn rewards by exploring.

Inspired by the Maine Beer Trail, Fairway Trail aims to connect players with Maine’s golf destinations, from the coast to the County. The program highlights the state’s 128 golf facilities, including public courses and nine-hole family courses. Fairway Trail is also working on a winter season at indoor simulators, so golfers may be able to continue their passport journey beyond the short outdoor season. The organizers are currently inviting Maine courses and businesses to join or sponsor the 2027 trail.
