Faites des Livres is an association that promotes children’s and young people’s literature through a recurring festival and year-round cultural activities in Saint-Junien. Its main event brings together authors, readers, schools and the wider community for encounters, workshops, talks, exhibitions and performances. The next festival is scheduled for 29–30 May 2026, with a public programme on Saturday, 30 May, from 10 a.
m. to 5:30 p. m.
Festival activities include free, open-access workshops, an exhibition by Mickaël Bettinelli and a cabaret, alongside opportunities to meet authors and discover books. The association also shares information for schools and students from nursery through high school, including details for students with specific needs. Its website provides festival schedules, access information, event announcements and archives dating back to earlier editions.
Visitors can also learn about the association’s project, team, working groups and membership. Supported by partners including the Mairie de Saint-Junien and the local Lions Club, Faites des Livres creates opportunities for literary discovery, creative participation and community exchange
