About FAiThPK
FAiTh, or Fight Against Thalassemia, is a dedicated non-profit organization based in Pakistan, focused on supporting thalassemia patients and their families. Founded by Salman Mehmood, a thalassemia major patient, FAiTh is committed to raising awareness about this genetic blood disorder while advocating for better treatment and patient rights. With Ayesha Mehmood as its resilient current leader, the organization offers a comprehensive range of services, including free medical consultations, education, and skill development workshops for patients and their guardians.
FAiTh actively promotes community support, empowering over 400 registered patients and their families through resource-sharing and emotional encouragement. The organization also runs a Drugs Donating Society to provide essential medications to those in need. By organizing events and campaigns, FAiTh aims to create a compassionate network for individuals affected by thalassemia and combat the challenges they face. Through these efforts, FAiTh stands as a beacon of hope, striving to improve the lives of thalassemia patients across the nation.
