FAJR Music Festival is a renowned music festival that has been active since 1364. Originally known as the Revolutionary Songs and Music Festival, it provided a platform for musicians to perform and concerts to be held. After four years, it was renamed as the FAJR Music Festival, which coincided with the end of the eight-year war imposed on Iran.

Since then, the festival has grown in scope and international recognition. It has featured various music genres and has attracted renowned Muslim musicians from around the world. In its thirteenth edition, the festival introduced a special section dedicated to female musicians after two decades of silence.

Over time, the festival evolved, adding new sections such as Instrumental and Thesis, and emphasizing research in music. The current director of the festival is Mohammad Eliyari Foomani. It is held in Tehran, with competitions, song and music awards, and research sessions as part of its program
