Falafel King is a Swiss producer of vegan falafel products, founded in Zurich in 1997 by Mourice Mikhail and now producing in Langnau am Albis. Its range is designed for professional kitchens and food businesses, including restaurants, hotels, caterers, food trucks, system gastronomy, retailers and wholesalers. The company also welcomes enquiries from private customers.
The assortment includes ready-to-serve frozen falafel balls, mini falafel balls and falafel burger patties, as well as a falafel mix for businesses that prefer to shape and fry their own. Complementary products include falafel sauce seasoning and two sesame pastes, Tahina Plus and Tahina Fresh. Falafel King describes its falafel as vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free, with no additives; products are V-Label-certified. Ready-cooked items can be thawed and served, heated in an oven or briefly fried.
Frozen products offer convenient preparation, consistent portions and reduced kitchen prep. Falafel can be served in wraps, bowls, burgers, buffets, breakfasts or as a side. The company supplies frozen orders and offers business quotations and product samples on request.
