The Falcons Ice Hockey Club is a long-established South Australian club and an active member of Ice Hockey South Australia. Formed in 1963, the Falcons played their first official game against the Redwings in 1964 at the St Moritz Skating Rink on Hindley Street in Adelaide. More than 50 years later, the club remains part of the local ice hockey community and is one of five clubs in the state’s senior league. It is also one of three clubs still present since the league’s inception.
The Falcons currently field four teams: one in C Grade, two in B Grade and one in A Grade. As a founding member of Ice Hockey South Australia, the club takes pride in supporting the development of the sport across the state. It welcomes people from a range of backgrounds and abilities, and has a history of helping lower divisions promote participation and encourage development. The Falcons’ official club site shares club information, merchandise, galleries, photographs, videos and contact details for supporters and members.
