The FAL Files is an online discussion community focused on the FN FAL rifle and related firearms. Its forums bring together enthusiasts to exchange technical information, share experience, and discuss collecting, maintenance, building, and accessories. A reference and data section provides FAL and L1A1 FAQs and library resources, while dedicated areas cover gunsmithing, ammunition, optics, gear, and product and seller reviews.

The community also hosts discussions about other firearms, including FN models, AR and AK rifles, L1A1 and Indian variants, and platforms such as the AUG, HK, M1, 1911, Glock, SIG, shotguns, and bolt-action rifles. Members can talk about hunting, fishing, outdoor activities, survival, preparedness, and general non-firearms topics. The site includes a marketplace for buying, selling, and trading FALs, ammunition, and accessories, with sections for services, group buys, auctions, and member feedback. Additional features include member accounts, searchable forum discussions, and channels for site suggestions and technical support.
