Famien Resources is a gold exploration company focused on discovering new deposits in Côte d’Ivoire’s prospective Birimian Greenstone Belt. Its portfolio covers more than 3,500 square kilometres and includes the Tougbo and Gogo projects, with the flagship Tougbo-Gogo ground spanning 1,534 square kilometres across the Houndé Belt. The company also lists the West-Yilgarn project in Australia.
Famien follows a greenfields exploration strategy, using low-cost targeting methods informed by approaches associated with the discovery of the Bankan gold deposit in Guinea. Its aim is to identify deposits exceeding two million ounces of gold. At the Tougbo permit, initial drilling at the Kalama Bave discovery returned a reported best intercept of 24 metres at 3.72 grams per tonne of gold.
The company is led by Paul Roberts, former managing director of Predictive Discovery, and supported by Dr Barry Murphy, its former chief geologist, alongside a team with experience in gold discovery, governance and Côte d’Ivoire operations. Famien provides project updates, investor presentations, annual reports and ASX announcements for investors.
