About Familienzentrum Bezirk Affoltern
Familienzentrum Bezirk Affoltern is a family meeting place and association serving families, parents and caregivers in the Affoltern district and nearby communities. Since 1996, it has supported social connection and integration by bringing together people from different social and cultural backgrounds. Its welcoming spaces include child-friendly indoor play areas and a fenced outdoor playground, where children can meet and play while adults connect and share experiences.
The centre offers activities and services for young children and their families, including the VIVA playgroup for children aged two and a half and over, supervised childcare for babies and preschool-age children, and baby and toddler meetups. It also provides babysitter referrals, room rentals, and the Kafi Lollipop café. Parents and other adults can take part in courses and events covering family life, child development, health, education and creativity. Language meetups include English conversation and a Spanish-language café, while the Lernstube offers free learning support for adults, with childcare available at some sessions.
