Familienzentrum miniMAXI e.V. is a family and community center in Harsewinkel, Germany, offering free advice, guidance and support for children and families. Founded in 1997 from a neighborhood self-help project, the organization is run by the Mütter- und Familienzentrum miniMAXI e.V. It serves as a district family center and a Family Center of North Rhine-Westphalia, working in partnership with St. Paulus Catholic daycare. Its team brings together professionals from different areas of education and works with local networks to shape services around community needs.

The center supports families through counseling on parenting, pregnancy, women’s concerns, childcare and other life situations, alongside education and practical courses. Offerings include training for childminders, baby massage, first aid, parent talks, language support and postnatal exercise. Families can also join parent-child groups, play sessions, meetups and community events. Childcare services include childminder referrals, group care for young children and babysitter information. The center additionally connects generations through family mentors and a senior visiting service, and provides activities for families with children with disabilities, foster families and newcomers.
