Its research covers the van Rij family, including the related spellings van Riede, van Reij and van Rije, as well as the Gijsen, van Loon and Kaijen families. The site welcomes questions and corrections, and invites visitors to contribute additional information through its contact form or email.

It explains that information is compiled carefully, while acknowledging that errors may occur.
