Domaine Montrose is a family wine producer based in Valros, in France’s Languedoc region, a few kilometres from Pézenas and the Mediterranean Sea. The Coste family has lived in Valros since 1701, and its wines reflect the area’s varied character, combining Mediterranean influences with higher-altitude terroirs. The domaine describes its approach as a careful journey from vineyard to cellar, guided by elegance, conviviality, balance and a preference for finesse over ostentation.
Its collection includes Domaine Montrose wines such as Rosé, Salamandre, Chardonnay, Prestige and 1701, alongside signature cuvées and limited-quantity selections from its best terroirs. The wider range features Château des Adouzes wines, made in Roquessels in the Haut-Languedoc, where the site is described as higher, more mineral and wild.
