About Familles Rurales
Familles Rurales is a recognized public utility association that advocates for families across the entire territory. With a focus on rural and suburban areas, this association is dedicated to supporting families and providing a wide range of services. As the largest family movement in France, it has 121,000 member families, 1,850 local associations, 69 departmental federations, and 11 regional federations.
With a strong presence of 25,000 volunteers and 17,000 employees, Familles Rurales is not only a key actor in the social and solidarity economy but also in popular education. The association is committed to defending consumer rights and has published its annual Observatory of fruit and vegetable prices for the 17th consecutive year. Highlighting the increase in prices and the negative impact on both producers and consumers, Familles Rurales advocates for fair practices.
Additionally, the association is actively involved in addressing various issues such as childhood, youth, seniors, education, solidarity, and local development. With a humanistic and social approach, Familles Rurales places the family, territories, and associative life at the core of its values
