Family Focused Speech Therapy

Family Focused Speech Therapy provides holistic, family-centered speech and language services for children in Fitchburg, Verona, Middleton, and Madison, Wisconsin. Led by Molly, M.S., CCC-SLP, a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist since 2005, the practice draws on experience in home- and county-based Birth to Three services and school-based support for children ages 3–12. Its approach is inclusive, sensory-friendly, flexible, and responsive, with an emphasis on neurodiversity-affirming practices and collaboration among families, teachers, and other therapists.

Services include communication evaluations, parent coaching, and individualized therapy. Evaluations identify a child’s communication strengths and areas for growth, while coaching helps parents build the knowledge and tools to support and advocate for their child. Treatment plans are developed jointly with parents and caregivers, with sessions using play-based and traditional approaches to work toward communication goals and greater independence. Services take place in children’s home and community environments. The practice aims to provide short-term therapy with lasting results, helping children use their communication skills across everyday settings.
