Family Treasures Found is a project founded by Tammy Jorgensen to help reunite people with lost family keepsakes. Its central purpose is to display identified and unidentified photographs, documents, and other personal items so they can be recognized and returned to relatives. The service is provided at no charge, and the collection grows as new materials are added, making the site an ongoing resource for people searching for family history and connections.

The online collection includes thousands of files across albums and categories. Visitors can browse photographs, documents, Bibles, books such as autograph books and scrapbooks, diaries and journals, ephemera, negatives, slides, prayer books, telegrams, and other personal items. The site also features materials related to ships and men’s lodge groups. Search and album-browsing tools help visitors explore the collection, while a forum and contact options provide ways to engage with the project. Family Treasures Found also has a presence on Facebook and other social media platforms.
