Familie in ’t Zand(t) is a family-history website documenting the family’s past and present, from the sixteenth century to today. It brings together historical information, a family tree, personal stories, photographs, videos and updates contributed by family members and visitors. The site invites users to explore their roots, learn about relatives and share material that can enrich the family record.

Visitors can browse the family tree and, after registering, access personal information about living people. Individual person pages may include photographs, and the site also features family stories, general family history, recent history, a calendar of birthdays, marriages and deaths, and a family coat of arms available for download. Family members are encouraged to check their details and send corrections, photographs, stories or other updates to the editorial team through the site’s contact channel.

Contributions are coordinated so that family members can read shared accounts and view submitted images. By combining genealogy with community participation, Familie in ’t Zand(t) helps preserve and develop a shared record of the family across generations
