FamlyCare

FamlyCare is a family-support practice founded by Catrin Lynggaard, a trained pedagogue and family counsellor who works with prenatal attachment. It supports pregnant women and parents of babies and young children, recognising that pregnancy and early family life can bring worries, uncertainty and intense emotions as well as joy. Its services include prenatal attachment therapy for people who want to build a connection with their unborn child, including those affected by anxiety, previous pregnancy loss or fertility treatment.

After birth, family guidance helps parents understand their child’s reactions, navigate strong feelings and boundaries, and feel more confident in their parenting role. Sessions are held online, with options for individual parents or both parents together; the joint session is family guidance, not couples therapy. FamlyCare also offers help with childcare transitions, talks and presentations, resources for professionals, articles and a free online community.
