About The Jamaica Family Planning Association
The Jamaica Family Planning Association (JFPA) is a Jamaican non-governmental, non-profit organization that has worked in sexual and reproductive health since 1957. As a member association of the International Planned Parenthood Federation, it provides health services in line with national policy guidelines and advocates for sexual and reproductive health rights. JFPA operates two fixed clinics: the Lenworth Jacobs Clinic in Kingston and the Beth Jacobs Clinic in St.
Annβs Bay. Services include contraceptive provision, vaccinations for adults and children, gynecological care, and antenatal and postnatal services. The association also supports an Associated Clinic Programme and the Youth Advocacy Movement (YAM), contributing to health outreach and youth engagement.
People interested in its mission can become members or support its work through donations and other forms of involvement. JFPAβs programmes, services, and partnerships reflect its broader commitment to improving access to care and addressing inequities in sexual and reproductive health across Jamaica
