About Fanari Villas
Fanari Villas is a traditionally-styled 4-star boutique hotel located in Oia, Santorini. With its wonderful Cycladic features, this multi-level complex offers a genuine taste of the island. The history of the settlement of Oia is preserved in Fanari Villas, which is owned and managed by Emmanouil Darzentas, a descendant of two historical families. The roots of the Darzentas family trace back to a branch of the Byzantine Argyros family, while the Barbarigos family originates from Venice. The resort was created in the early 90s by restoring the remaining ruins of the 1956 earthquake. The name "Fanari," meaning lighthouse in Greek, pays homage to the beautiful lighthouse that once stood in the area.
The hotel features Santorini-style cave-like suites with handcrafted wooden furniture and built-in stone-tiled beds and sofas, providing a charming and comfortable atmosphere. The outdoor areas showcase curved rooftops, arches, and terraces with stunning views of the Aegean Sea and the Santorini sunset. Fanari Villas is popular among couples, whether for a romantic getaway, honeymoon, or wedding. The dedicated staff ensures a pleasant and carefree stay by offering high-quality service and personal attention.
So, whether you're planning a peaceful cocooning retreat or looking forward to a fine dining experience, Fanari Villas is the ideal destination.
