Central Coast Gynecology is a physician-owned practice in Santa Barbara, founded by Maryam Guiahi, MD. It provides comprehensive general and specialized gynecologic care for patients across the Central Coast, with recommendations guided by current evidence and tailored to each person’s needs, comfort, goals, and preferences. The practice offers preventive visits, contraception, evaluation of abnormal bleeding, menopause and sexual health care, pelvic pain services, complex family planning, and office-based procedures.

These procedures may include colposcopy, LEEP, D&C, Bartholin cyst treatment, and IUD care; options to support comfort can include local numbing, TENS, oral pain relief, and minimal sedation with nitrous oxide when appropriate. Visits are thoughtfully paced to allow time for questions, discussion, and shared decision-making. Central Coast Gynecology welcomes new patients and offers insurance and fee-for-service options.
