Fancy Wedding is an independent wedding officiant service based in the Gelderland region of the Netherlands, founded by Annemarie Degen Baerveldt in May 2022. Alongside her work as a teacher and ambulant support worker, Annemarie helps couples celebrate their marriage with a personal ceremony shaped around their relationship and story. She describes herself as down-to-earth, with a strong sense of humour and a love of romance, bringing these qualities to the way she works with couples.

The service is designed for people seeking a distinctive, memorable wedding ceremony. Fancy Wedding aims to make this important moment beautiful and meaningful, with a concept tailored to each couple rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Previous ceremonies have taken place in locations including Puiflijk, Ewijk and Echteld in Gelderland, as well as Boxtel in Noord-Brabant. Couples can browse examples of earlier weddings and read client experiences on the website. Those interested in learning more or arranging an introductory conversation can contact Annemarie through the website, by email or by phone.
