Daño Cerebral Andalucía

Daño Cerebral Andalucía, also known as FANDACE, is the Andalusian Federation for Acquired Brain Injury. It represents and supports people whose lives have been affected by conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, or other unexpected brain injuries, as well as their families. The federation works to find resources that help people integrate into their communities, access guidance, and pursue rehabilitation. It also provides families with advice to help them understand and manage the challenges that can follow an acquired brain injury.

Its website shares information about acquired brain injury in Andalusia and offers programs and services through its network of member associations. Areas of work include rural brain injury support, women and acquired brain injury, inclusive leisure, teletherapy, and the DCAsa initiative, alongside resource guides and information about stroke. The federation also promotes volunteering, including opportunities to volunteer from home, and raises awareness through news and public campaigns.
