Fanisi Institute

Fanisi Institute is a leadership development organisation based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, helping emerging professionals across Africa build clarity, confidence, and direction. Founded in May 2021 by Sarah Majengo, the institute offers world-class learning designed for African realities, combining training, coaching, and mentoring to develop purposeful leaders. Its programmes serve people at different stages of their careers, from students and new hires to managers, teams, and experienced professionals.

Offerings include the Fanisi Emerging Leaders Program, with weekly training, coaching, and individual action plans; Career Building Blocks, a two-week workplace skills workshop; and Fanisi Business Leadership, which strengthens self-mastery and people leadership. The four-day Fanisi NextGen Program equips students with life and leadership skills, while Fanisi Team Effectiveness supports stronger collaboration. Online Coaching provides six personalised sessions for professional and leadership growth.

Fanisi also connects participants through a growing alumni community and works with organisations to develop their people. Its team of facilitators and programme specialists supports practical, structured learning, with more than 300 leaders graduated and 15 cohorts delivered.
