FANLYC

FANLYC, or Fundación Amigos del Niño con Leucemia y Cáncer, is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and adolescents battling cancer. Based in Panama, FANLYC provides essential support through various programs, including free lodging and transportation for patients and their families. The foundation operates a facility equipped with 24 rooms and specific accommodations for bone marrow transplant patients. Additionally, FANLYC offers crucial medication to those without other means of support, ensuring that these children receive necessary chemotherapy.

Understanding the emotional challenges associated with cancer, FANLYC implements a psychosocial support program that guides families through all stages of treatment. Through initiatives like the “4u” campaign, the organization promotes healthy lifestyles, encompassing nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and spirituality. Engagement through volunteer opportunities is also encouraged, allowing individuals and corporate groups to contribute to fundraising events, service projects, and direct family support, fostering a compassionate community dedicated to fighting pediatric cancer.
