Fantasy Walk is a screen-free walking RPG that turns everyday movement into a fantasy adventure. Available as a free open beta on Android, the app uses step counts from Google Health Connect to move players through a living fantasy world, without continuous GPS tracking or the need to watch a screen while walking. Players choose from four classes—Scout, Pirate, Warrior, or Mage—each with a distinct starting region, bonus, and combat options.
As they travel at their own pace, they can explore trails, discover settlements and loot, complete quests, and encounter enemies. Its dual combat system powers ranged attacks through accumulated steps and melee combat through time spent in a target heart-rate zone. Alongside the RPG, Fantasy Walk offers a free, private-in-browser Step Card Generator for creating high-resolution social media cards from step milestones.
The cards support steps recorded by Apple Health, Garmin, Google, or other phones and smartwatches. Fantasy Walk’s iOS version is in development, with a waitlist available for prospective testers
